Film & Video Content Creator
I like switching hats!
My work spans commercials, online content, TV, drama and documentary. 'Right word. Right time' an online video campaign I wrote, directed and edited for Alfred Health won Gold at the Melbourne Design Awards and The GOV Design Awards for Best Video Viral. My first feature length documentary as co-producer and film editor
'Graceful Girls' won Best Documentary at MIFF 2015.
Whether it's branded content, web, film or TV, I'm passionate about creating unique and engaging concepts. I'm equally at home wearing multiple hats on a project or just the one.
Oh, and I also like motorbikes!
I was approached by production company Immediacy to write an online video campaign for Alfred Health.
The brief was to create an engaging campaign targeting medical practitioners to stimulate change in how they promote preventive health care to their patients. There were no pre-existing design elements, just a multitude of sobering stats and complex information to absorb and distill into a coherent, punchy and resonant film. It was an exciting opportunity to do something unexpected with a client who was ready to push boundaries.
After exploring several approaches I developed a simple but heartfelt sci- fi inspired idea. One that focused on the human story of missed health opportunities, as well as the effective positive measures that doctors can employ to create change in their patients lives.
Moving from concept to script to directing then switching hats to editor, I worked closely with our designer and motion graphics team to create a film that was visually arresting, informative and emotional.
The film went on to win gold at the Melbourne Design Awards as well as the Gov Awards.

Born and raised in North London to Ghanaian parents I originally trained as an architect but then realised making films was what I had really wanted to do all along. I finished my Architecture degree and began working my way up from production runner, to edit assistant, and then film editor. At night and on weekends I wrote scripts and made short films, and during the week I cut commercials and music videos. I'm proud to say that I cut Banksy's only known music video!
As a committed screenwriter I've won a BAFTA Focus on Talent Screenwriting Award, wriiten radio drama for Radio 4, won an Australian Writers Guild Award for my short screenplay 'Love Hurts'. My debut feature screenplay ‘In The Blood’ has received Screen Australia script development and production backing.
